Be assured that bleeding during pregnancy is not unusual and doesn't always mean a problem. About one woman in five bleeds sometime in early pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any vaginal bleeding you experience; he or she may want you to have an ultrasound. If it is early in the pregnancy, you may be worried about having a miscarriage. Usually we cannot give a definite answer as to what causes the bleeding, but we do know that it is not usually a problem.
Can Bed Rest Help Stop Bleeding?
Going to bed and resting may help stop vaginal bleeding. My suggestion is to contact your physician before you do anything. Follow his or her instructions. Your doctor knows your medical and pregnancy history, so follow his or her advice.
