The long wait is over! You have your baby home and are ready to begin life as a family. You may be a little nervous about handling this tiny little person. It may help to know that babies are very resilient— you don't have to handle them as though they're made of china. Be careful to support their heads, keep them comfortably dressed (not too hot, not too cold), feed and change them—as you get the hang of things, these tasks will become much easier.
The most important thing you can give your baby is your love. As a father of five children, I know this won't be a difficult task. Babies are lovable; it's hard not to devote all of your time to them! Enjoy this wonderful, magical time with your child.
