1 Week Pregnant

Future mom

If that’s your first pregnancy, then the 18th week is especially very worrying period for you because you are going to feel baby’s movements. However, many young moms experience this joy only on their 19-20th weeks, especially if they gain extra weight. Many women agree that it’s hard to describe this sensation, but to others it reminds the condition before a stomach disorder.
If you want to get pregnant and become a mom, you have to be in a good physical shape. Several months prior to conception you should quit smoking, drinking and try to take fewer pills as possible. You also have to quit the work that is harmful or stressful for you. If you or someone from your family suffers from congenital or inherent disease, consult with your doctor whether it would threaten the pregnancy or not. Your body temperature will rise a little during ovulation. Measuring your temperature at least within the last 3 months, you notice certain regularity: initially it is around 97.88 F (36.6°С) then it rises during ovulation. Stop taking pills three months before conception and vaccinate against measles. Your last menstruation has just started and you can plan your pregnancy. Pre-conceptual planning of pregnancy is a good idea. However if you haven’t done your medical examinations yet, then take pregnancy vitamins like 4 mg of folic acid a day to help prevent nerve tubes defects.
