Changes in You

During your pregnancy, you will see many changes in your body. Your breasts get bigger, you may have food cravings and you'll probably have to go to the bathroom more often. You may experience changes in your emotions, too. These are all natural. By knowing what you can expect, you may be more comfortable with the changes you experience.
In the first part of your pregnancy, you won't look much different than you did before you were pregnant. It may even take awhile before you realize you are going to have a baby. You shouldn't gain much weight during this time—probably no more than 5 pounds (2.25kg) for the first few months. Your abdomen will grow a little, but though you may want to, you won't feel the baby move during this time. That won't happen until about the fourth month.
