Your breasts undergo many changes during pregnancy. After about 8 weeks, it's normal for your breasts to start getting larger. You may notice they are lumpy or nodular. These are all normal changes in pregnancy.
Your breasts will enlarge during your pregnancy. However, a very large increase in size is extremely unlikely. On average, women gain between 1 and 1-1/2 pounds in each breast.
Breast Tenderness and Color
Tenderness, tingling or soreness of your breasts early in pregnancy is common. Before pregnancy the areola, which surrounds the nipple, is usually pink. It turns brown or red-brown and may get larger during pregnancy and lactation (when you are producing milk).
