Eating Out

More people eat out at least some of their weekly meals. It's OK to eat out at restaurants; just be a little more careful about what you eat. Avoid raw meats or raw seafood, such as sushi. You may find certain foods do not agree with you; avoid them.
Fish, fresh vegetables and salads are usually your best bets, but be careful with calorie-loaded salad dressings if excessive weight gain is a concern. Avoid highly spicy foods or foods that contain a lot of sodium, such as some Chinese food and soy sauce. You may experience water retention after eating these foods.
